Calibrate the controller in Windows first.Ģ. I'm glad I didn't buy it before trying it.ġ. Madness! Obviously this won't work in Clearview, but annoyingly it works fine in FMS. "Slide" is controlled partway by the flap knob! The 'gear' switch moves both "button 2" and "X Rotation". The throttle moves "Y axis", and rudder moves "Z rotation", but only from center to one endpoint. For example, the ail/elev stick should be the X-Y axis, but instead Windows assigns elevator to both "Z axis" and "Dial", where aileron is "X axis". There is something wonky about how Windows assigns the axis settings for the JR transmitter, so since Clearview uses these same settings it is impossible to get normal controls. This is a laptop, so at least I had a touchpad I could enable.īut that's not the end of the story. Well, I got Clearview to see the RC Joystick, but it took unplugging every other USB device (even the mouse).
